Al-Ahly Benghazi club succeeded in achieving fifth place in the Arab Volleyball Club Championship, after its well-deserved victory over Dar Kulaib of Bahrain.
Al-Ahly Benghazi defeated the Bahraini team with a score of 1:3. The match ended today, Wednesday, as follows: 25-20, 25-17, 22-25, and 25-22.
With this well-deserved victory, the Libyan representative achieved fifth place in the tournament, while the Bahraini Dar Kulaib came in sixth place.
Al-Ahly Benghazi competed for fifth place, after defeating the Kuwaiti team Al-Kadhma, with a score of 1:3.
The Libyan team competed in the first group, which included: Kazma of Kuwait, Al-Najma of Bahraini, Qatar of Qatar, and Shabab Al-Hussein of Jordan.
As part of his competitions in the tournament, the Libyan actor defeated Al-Seeb of Oman, on Saturday (3-2), and on Sunday, he defeated the Bahraini Al-Najma team in a strong match that extended for five rounds, and ended with a victory of three rounds to two in his favor.
He had won his first match against the Jordanian team, Shabab Al-Hussein, by three clean sets, then he won in his second match against the Kuwaiti team, Kazma, by three sets to one, but he lost as a result of his third match with the Qatari team, Qatar, by three sets to one set.
Today, Wednesday, Al-Suwaihli Club, which also represents Libya in the Arab Volleyball Championship, will play the final match against the Qatari team, Qatar, at six o’clock in the evening in Somaya Hall.
The Al-Suwaihli team did not lose a single match in the tournament, as it played six matches, and aspires to achieve the Arab volleyball title in its 42nd edition.
