Air conditioning does not work at Astana airport

Air conditioners stopped working at Astana International Airport, Liter.kz reports.

The fact that the air conditioners do not work at full capacity creates discomfort on hot days. According to the capital’s harbor, work is currently underway to restore the climate control system, which will ensure the proper microclimate in the airport buildings and comply with all necessary sanitary and epidemiological requirements.

“Due to the high load on the cooling equipment, the chiller control system is not operating at full capacity, but the airport is currently actively working on repair and restoration work to eliminate any possible inconsistencies. We ask passengers to show understanding and tolerance regarding this situation and promise to do everything possible to improve the comfort and safety of our passengers,” the press service commented.

It was previously reported that the capital’s airport, due to high seasonal demand in the summer, is extending operating hours for the convenience of passengers from June 14.
