Ahzon intervenes to save the “Quartet Party”

The ceremony, which was revived by the Tunisian artist Saber Al -Ribai, on Friday evening at the Mohamed V Theater in Rabat, brought a weak public presence that did not rise to the level of expectations, despite its programming within the paragraphs of the “Mawazine Rhythms of the World” festival, which is one of the largest artistic demonstrations in Morocco.

A special source for Hespress revealed that in front of the empty seats at the beginning of the ceremony, Abd al -Salam Ahzoun was forced to go towards those charged with organizing entry and asked them to open the doors of the theater for free in the face of passers -by, in an attempt to save the situation and ensure a relative fullness of the hall.

The source of Hespress highlighted that this decision came after the organizers noted that the demand for the tickets of the ceremony was not at the level of their expectations, which sparked a state of surprise, given the technical value of Saber Al -Ribai and his masses in the Arab world, indicating that the late announcement of his hosting in this session was a major reason in that.

This incident comes to highlight the challenges that this year’s session faces from the “Mawazine” festival, especially with regard to programming choices, and the public’s response to them, amid continuous criticisms regarding the absence of balance in the distribution of parties, and the marginalization of some Moroccan artistic colors in exchange for calling foreign and Arabic names that do not achieve the same resonance.
