Ahead of Eid homecoming, Pertamina checks fuel and LPG distribution readiness

JAKARTA – PT Pertamina Patra Niaga checks the readiness of fuel oil (BBM) and LPG facilities and facilities at the Integrated Terminal Surabaya Group to ensure safe and smooth distribution during Ramadan and homecoming Eid 2024 .

“Integrated Terminal Surabaya Group is the second largest depot after Plumpang, Jakarta, and is very vital for energy distribution in East Java. For this reason, we are checking its readiness in terms of facilities and facilities as well as readiness to build up stock at IT Surabaya Group,” explained the Regional Marketing Director Pertamina Patra Niaga Mars Ega Legowo Putra in his statement in Jakarta, Thursday (21/3/2024).

Mars Ega together with the Director of Logistics & Infrastructure of PT Pertamina (Persero) Alfian Nasution checked the readiness of the Surabaya Group Integrated Terminal (IT) today. Apart from the reliability of facilities and facilities (sarfas) as well as stock, continued Mars Ega, to ensure services run well, his party also focuses on digitalization integration at the Surabaya Group Integrated Terminal and gas stations.

Currently, around 1,600 gas stations have implemented auto replenishment, where gas stations can request automatic fuel delivery in anticipation before stock at gas stations runs low.

According to him, all these efforts must also ensure good safety aspects for public comfort and good company operations. Pertamina Patra Niaga ensures energy availability on every trip, both for products and also in terms of services to consumers.

“With stock reliability, distribution, digitalization and services that always prioritize safety aspects, we hope to be able to carry out the task of distributing energy throughout Ramadan until Eid al-Fitr well,” he explained.

Meanwhile, Alfian also ensured several important points in anticipating energy needs ahead of Eid al-Fitr, namely asset integrity and the readiness of all workers based on safety aspects.

“Reliability of infrastructure must be ensured at 100 percent so it is ready to meet the surge in energy demand. Reliability of supply, ensure distribution alternatives are prepared to anticipate undesirable things,” he said.
