Agnez Mo Calls for All Eyes on Rafah after Equating Genocide with War

JAKARTA – Agnez Mo called for All Eyes on Rafah, a movement that became popular in the world after equating the genocide carried out by Israel as war. This can be seen in Agnez’s uploads on her personal Instagram, causing a harvest of criticism from netizens.

This incident started when the former child singer wrote Stop the War instead All Eyes on Rafah on Instagram Stories. As a result of her upload, Agnez was deemed unable to differentiate between war and genocide that was taking place in Palestine.

Most recently, the singer of Matahariku shared the article All Eyes on Rafah with a background of tents in Rafah, Palestine. This post is the same as that shared by other Indonesian artists.

In another upload, the owner of the real name Agnes Monica Muljoto called for an immediate ceasefire. He then emphasized that he did not condone the massacre of children.

“I say it again. There is no justification for the massacre of children,” wrote Agnez in English, quoted on Friday (31/5/2024).

Furthermore, the 37-year-old woman stated the importance of a life, including the safety of children. He also touches on the issue of humanity and defends the entire human race.

“Everyone. You can’t choose who you want to save. No one life is more valuable than another. You have to save them all. You can’t make conditions on who is more loved, cherished and cared for more,” he explained.
