Tamim Iqbal stormed in the beginning. Pakistani opener Ahmed Shehzad and Bangladesh’s Soumya Sarkar were partnered for a while. In the end, Tamim played an innings of 71 runs after playing 45 balls.

A great opening pair of 76 runs was formed in the beginning with the bat of Tamim and Shehzad. Shehzad got out after scoring 24 runs off 22 balls. Soumya Sarkar scored 28 runs off 23 balls. Mahmudullah was out for 13 runs. Shoaib Malik remains unbeaten with 10 runs off 9 balls.
Alauddin Babu took 3 wickets with 30 runs for Dhaka. Taskin Ahmed took 2 wickets and Shariful Islam took 1.
