Highway Traffic Control Patrol Team No. 4, Room 6, Traffic Police Department (Ministry of Public Security) discovered a driver violating a ‘huge’ alcohol concentration on Nghi Son – Dien Chau Expressway.
On the morning of February 11 (the 2nd day of Giap Thin Lunar New Year), talking to a reporter from Traffic Newspaper, a leader of Highway Traffic Control Patrol Team No. 4, Room 6, Traffic Police Department (Ministry of Public Security) said : The team has just discovered and recorded an administrative violation case of a “huge” alcohol concentration violation on the Nghi Son – Dien Chau expressway.
Accordingly, following the direction of the Ministry of Public Security, the Traffic Police Department and Room 6, the Highway Traffic Control Patrol Team No. 4 has arranged officers and soldiers to conduct patrols and control on the route. Nghi Son – Dien Chau Expressway operates 24/24h, working through the night and throughout Tet to ensure people enjoy spring and celebrate Tet safely.
At 10:15 p.m. on February 10 (the first day of the Lunar New Year), at Km430, Nghi Son – Dien Chau expressway (in Dien Chau district, Nghe An province), the team’s working group stopped checking cars. BKS 30H-914.XX, controlled by Mr. NTV (born 1991, residing in Xuan Giang, Nghi Xuan, Ha Tinh), moving in the direction of Vinh – Hanoi.
At the time of testing, the alcohol concentration in driver V’s breath was measured at 0.573mg/l of breath.
Through the struggle, the driver said he was on his way from his hometown to Hanoi. In particular, in the car, in addition to the driver, there were also his wife and two small children.
The team’s officers and soldiers propagated and explained to the driver that drinking alcohol while participating in traffic is against the law and poses a risk of causing accidents to themselves and other road users.
In particular, in this case, the driver violated the alcohol concentration at a very high level, posing a very high risk of causing an accident.
After that, the working group made a record of the administrative violation against the driver, impounded the vehicle, and supported the violator’s family to continue their journey back to Hanoi.
It is known that with the above violation, the NTV driver was fined up to 35 million VND and had his driver’s license revoked for 23 months.
