Jampidsus and DJKN were reported regarding alleged misuse of the auction for the mining company PT Gunung Bara Utama (GBU). KSST Coordinator, Ronald, revealed that there were allegations of state losses in the auction process for the share assets.
“Today we conveyed that this allegation was based on data that we had prepared. We also attached all the facts and they were well received by the KPK,” said Ronald at the KPK’s Red and White Building, Jakarta, Monday (27/5/2024) .
“The Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus), the Attorney General’s Asset Appraiser (PPA), DJKN and others were reported. There were state losses in these share assets,” he added.
Meanwhile, KSST’s Assistant Legal Counsel, Deolipa Yumara, emphasized that her party reported allegations of corruption in the auction process for the PT GBU mining company.
“Today we will accompany KSST, called the civil coalition to save mines. They will make a report regarding suspected criminal acts, whether this is corruption? But this is corruption, if it comes here, alleged corruption over the mine auction from PT Gunung Bara Utama, GBU, right,” Deolipa said.
“Then for them, friends, there are indications that there is at least misuse of auctions, which is related to state finances. So there is a state loss here, so we came to the Corruption Eradication Commission,” he continued.
Deolipa said there were allegations that the auction process was incorrectly won by a company that had only been established for less than a year without any financial reports, namely PT Indo Bara Utama Mandiri (IBUM).
