Pakistan’s passport officials have revealed that about 13,000 Afghans have been issued a fake passport in which at least 60 interior ministry personnel have been named against whom action has been initiated.
The Directorate General of Immigration and Passports officials administered by the Interior Ministry said on condition of anonymity to Independent Urdu that ‘about 13,000 Pakistani passports were sent by the Saudi government in boxes, which are the passports that Afghans surrendered or recovered from Saudi Arabia.
He said that these figures are still from Saudi Arabia, one country, these figures are yet to come from other countries.
The official revealed that in this case, the names of about 50 personnel of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), as well as about 50 personnel of the passport department, were involved in the issuance of fake passports. ‘
Thus, at least 60 personnel of the FIA and the Passport Department have been found involved in making fake passports or its issuance.
Independent Urdu has spoken to the FIA’s top official in this regard.
The official revealed that “thousands of Afghans have fake passports, but the number of people arrested is more than 41 while others are being searched.”

He said, “Thousands of people have a fake national identity card. When it becomes it, the passport cannot be prevented from being made. In this regard, the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) and other relevant organizations are in touch. ‘
The official revealed that NADRA Chairman Lieutenant General Mohammad Munir Officer has registered cases against some officers of the institution.
Earlier, the meeting chaired by the Federal Home Minister had decided to cancel an FIR against the person concerned and cancel the passport against the person concerned on the deportation of Pakistani nationals living in other countries.
It was decided in the meeting that those who were deported would also be put on the passport control list for five years. However, a committee headed by the Secretary of Interior was constituted to further tighten and improve the passport rules.
12,000 Afghans use Pakistani documents to Saudi Arabia
