Singer Khalid’s death casts a shadow of mourning across the country. Social media is full of clips of all his popular songs. Khalid, who stormed the hearts of eighty-ninety million people, died of a heart attack on Monday night in Dhaka. He was 59 years old. He is survived by a son and wife.
He will be laid to rest today (March 19) at Naya Gorasthan of Gopalganj city. This singer was taken to his home Gopalganj on Monday night. It is known that Khalid’s frozen body reached the house of Gopalganj city at 3:30 in the night. Before this, Khalid’s first namaz was completed at 11 pm on Monday at Green Road Jame Masjid in the capital. People from all walks of life including art and culture participated in the funeral.
