The previous chairman of the upazila was once arrested within the Kasem Bepari homicide case mentioned in Salthar of Faridpur. Wadud Matubbar (48). Faridpur Further Superintendent of Police (Crime and Ops) Shailen Chakma (promoted to the submit of Superintendent of Police) showed his arrest on Tuesday (November 12) morning.
Previous on Monday (November 11) round 2 am, the police arrested him from the damaged street junction.

Ataur Rahman stated, according to secret knowledge, Wadud Matubbar, the previous chairman of Saltha Upazila Parishad, was once arrested on the damaged street junction of Faridpur at round 2 o’clock on Monday. On October 14, a tender guy named Kashem Bepari (28) was once hacked to dying through some miscreants for protesting the harassment of a tender girl he was once accompanying within the Joyjhap Imambari Mela of Salthar Gotti Union in Faridpur. Some other younger guy named Milon (32) was once injured through a Chinese language ax.
The deceased is the son of Geda Bepari of Madhyabalia village of Gotti Union of Kashem Upazila. The injured Milan could also be the son of Mohin Uddin of the similar village.
The sufferer’s circle of relatives and witnesses stated that at the afternoon of October 14, Kashem Babari and Milan went to the Imam’s space of Jayjhap to peer the honest and boating. Two younger ladies have been with them. Bahadur Molya, son of Musa Molya of native Jayjhap village, began teasing a tender girl who was once with Kasem and Milan whilst buying groceries throughout the honest. When Kasem and Milan protested, Bahadur were given indignant and referred to as his two brothers. Later Bahadur (23) together with his brothers Taiyab (20) and Sohail (18) some youths hacked Kasem and Milan with a Chinese language ax.
Locals rescued two injured other folks and took them to Faridpur Clinical School Clinic the place docs declared Kashem useless. On this incident, a homicide case was once filed at Saltha police station through the circle of relatives of the deceased. Accused primary if so. Wadud Matubbar.
