ADEC convenes the XV International Congress of CSR and Sustainability

The themes that guide this year’s agenda, under the motto “Innovate, implement and impact”, are the circular economy and its potential to reduce the environmental impact of companies; innovation for sustainability and how companies can develop more sustainable products and services; climate change and the role of the private sector in the fight against this phenomenon; and the management of corporate social responsibility and how companies can create shared value with their stakeholders (people and organizations with whom they engage).

The congress will be attended by national and international experts who will share their knowledge and experiences in sustainability. Among the foreign visitors, Lou Tamaehu-Plovier stands out, a European expert in circular economy, who will arrive for the first time in Paraguay as part of the strategic alliance of the European Union with the ADEC; and João Campari, global leader of WWF International’s food and agriculture practice. In addition, workshops will be held where participants can learn how to implement sustainable practices in their businesses.

In a world facing unprecedented environmental and social challenges, businesses have a critical role to play in building a sustainable future. The XV International Conference on CSR and Sustainability of the ADEC is a unique opportunity for the business sector to commit to sustainability and contribute to building a better future for future generations.
