Additional trains launched from Astana to Almaty and Shymkent

To meet the increased demand for travel in the summer, additional train flights in the southern direction have been launched from the capital of Kazakhstan, Liter.kz reports with reference to press service Ministry of Transport.

As noted by the department, these measures were taken to ensure more convenient and accessible movement of citizens between cities during the peak season.

According to information from Passenger Transportation JSC, daily flights have been added on two popular routes: No. 204/203 Astana – Shymkent and No. 202/201 Astana – Almaty. These additional trains will run until the end of the summer season to give passengers more flexibility in planning their journeys.

“The Ministry of Transport of Kazakhstan strongly recommends that passengers plan their trips in advance and purchase tickets in advance to avoid inconvenience. If there are no available tickets, passengers can use the “Waiting List” service, which is available free of charge on the official ticket sales website or at the ticket offices of Passenger Transportation JSC,” the message says.

For additional information or consultation, passengers can call the toll-free number 1433. Current news and updates are also available on the company’s official website, where information on train schedules, route changes and other important notifications is regularly published.
