Adana is on its way to becoming one of the leading cities in terms of health tourism.

Adana Governor Yavuz Selim Köşger said that with the developments in the field of health, Adana is taking firm steps towards becoming one of the leading cities of the region and the country, especially in terms of health tourism.

Governor Yavuz Selim Köşger visited the Provincial Health Directorate and received information from Provincial Health Director Specialist Dr. Halil Nacar about the general status of the Directorate, the services provided to our citizens and the work carried out. Governor Köşger made a brief assessment after the information he received and stated that they are striving to provide the best service throughout our province, hand in hand, in the field of health, as in other service areas.

Governor Köşger, who said that as a requirement of being a social state, it is our common goal to raise health services to the highest level, said, “In recent years, the quality has increased even more with the investments made in our province as well as in our entire country in the field of health services. Since our province has well-equipped hospitals and successful personnel, many patients from neighboring provinces and abroad come to our province and receive health services. With the developments in the field of health, Adana is taking firm steps towards becoming one of the leading cities of our region and country, especially in terms of health tourism. We continue our efforts to raise Adana to even higher levels in the field of health.”

Governor Köşger said that the superhuman efforts and sacrifices of our healthcare professionals to restore people to health and save their lives regardless of time and place are beyond all appreciation, and thanked all our devoted healthcare professionals and wished them success.
