“I feel like a beginner in everything, probably because I do so much,” laughs Alena. And she’s right – the actress, who also started with a difficult discipline such as stand-up (where, for example, she allowed herself to be graded and turned out to be pale), also wrote the book Anna from Hollywood, which, according to the author, is “worth the old white”.
“Mom asked how much she had to pay the publisher so they wouldn’t publish the book,” recalls Alena, who is not afraid to open explosive topics here, such as male penises and the relationship to her own sexuality. “I blush myself when I read the book,” she adds.
As an actress, she recently completed the series Studna, which is directed by Tereza Kopáčová for Voyo, and she remembered herself, a girl from Brno who was reluctant to even talk about director Jan Svěrák.
“White straight men can be cool too,” Alena summarizes her thoughts when asked about feminism. And at the same time, she admits that she likes to cook and would also like to be a housewife.
