MADRID (Portaltic/EP).- The video game Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III has become the first installment of the franchise to reach the Xbox Game Pass subscription service in versions for PC, console and Ultimate.
Call of Duty: Warfare III was released in November last year for PlayStation 4 (PS4) and PlayStation 5 (PS5) consoles, as well as Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via the Steam platform.
Shortly before, Microsoft, creator of the Xbox Game Pass cloud gaming platform, had closed the purchase of Activision Blizzard, developer of this popular franchise. At the time, it anticipated that it planned to bring the video games that it makes to the Xbox Game Pass service in 2024, which began with Diablo IV in March of this year.
Call of Duty, the franchise that pitted Microsoft against Sony, the manufacturer of the Xbox’s competing platform (PlayStation), has now arrived for the first time on the Game Pass subscription platform.
Specifically, it has done so with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, which is now available on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass for consoles “with a high-voltage single-player campaign, frenetic multiplayer and the first open-world zombie experience in the series,” Microsoft said in a statement.
In it, he has announced that fans of this family of video games will also be able to enjoy Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6 with a subscription to Game Pass starting next October 25.
