Precision sweeps steadily in food – “Steam engine” olive oil with 63.7% – 12.3% in fruit, 9.7% in fish, 4.8% in meat
They were announced at noon on Friday by Greek statistical authority inflation data in February and confirmed that food accuracy remains out of control. THE General Consumer Price Index of February increased by 2,9% on an annual basis.
THE accuracy in food items and non-alcoholic beverageshowever, continues to gallop at multiple speeds, as appreciations have reached the 6,7%. Among others, increases were recorded:
63.7% in Olive Oil
13.8% in Mineral water-soft drinks-fruit juices
12.3% in Fruits
9.7% in Pisces
6.5% in Vegetables
6.5% in Other foods
5.8% in Sugar-chocolates-sweets-ice creams
5.5% on alcoholic beverages
4.8% in Meats
4% in Coffee-cocoa-tea
Also noteworthy is a1.3% markup in Clothing and Footwear amid winter sales. Large appreciations of 3.5% were also noted in Health and corresponding in Education.
