Provial specified that the accident took place at kilometer 34.5 of National Route 10, in the area of Santa Lucía Milpas Altas, Sacatepéquez. The institution called for caution, because the accident occurred in the lane heading towards the colonial city.

In the video shared by Provial you can see that the accident was caused by a red car that skidded and crashed into the base of a sign.
The authorities did not report any injuries due to the accident, but they did ask for prevention.
Meanwhile, the spokesperson for the Departmental Municipal Firefighters Mario Upun reported another traffic incident.
This accident took place at kilometer 182 of the Inter-American route, leaving three injured.
Upun confirmed that those affected were transferred to the National Hospital of Totonicapán.
San Marcos Accident
Likewise, a car overturned at kilometer 237 of the Inter-American Route, an area that belongs to the department of San Marcos.
The accident left two people injured who were taken to the National Hospital of San Marcos.
