Noakhali Government College Professor Salma Akhtar and Gopalganj Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman University of Science and Technology President of Electrical and Electronic Department Dr. The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has launched an investigation into Abdullah Al-Assad’s corruption.
On Tuesday (February 20), two separate letters signed by Kamruzzaman, Deputy Director of Special Investigations and Investigations-II Branch of the ACC, informed about the investigation.
It is said in the corruption investigation letter of Professor Salma Akhtar, there is an allegation against her of taking bribe of at least 94 lakh 80 thousand rupees by admitting 237 students in excess of the number of seats. With the decision to investigate these complaints, the assistant director of the ACC head office said. Anwar Hossain was appointed as the Inquiry Officer. It is requested to complete the inquiry as per rules and submit the report promptly. At the same time, if the bank account is blocked or any asset is seized during the investigation, the concerned officials are also requested to inform it immediately in writing.
On the other hand, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman University of Science and Technology of Gopalganj, President of Electrical and Electronic Department Dr. Asif Al Mahmoud, Assistant Director of the ACC, was also appointed as the investigating officer in the Abdullah Al Asad corruption probe.
