A woman named April Freke, who lives in England, was named in the lawsuit she filed because her boss, Rohit Vikal, had verbally harassed her at the beauty salon where she worked.
The young woman, who said her boss at the company she worked for called her “sexy legs” and had personally asked for a massage, said: “Vika often tried to touch me. She sent pornographic films to my work computer.”
The judge ruled in the case brought by a young woman whose salary was reduced shortly after she responded negatively to her employer’s request. The court ruled that Vikal unfairly reduced the young woman’s salary. While the judge found Freke to be right, he ordered the businessman to pay 1522 British pounds to the young woman.
While text messages and correspondence were shown to the court as evidence, it was claimed that Freke was under pressure and feeling unwell.
While Vikal was fined 1,522 British pounds for the deduction from his salary, the fine that will be imposed on him following the sexual harassment and assault case has not yet been determined.
