The morning routine at Radio 10 was altered this Thursday when a woman began to violently hit the cars parked at the door of the station, located on Uriarte and Nicaragua, in the Palermo neighborhood. The vehicles belonged to the journalists Gustavo Sylvestre y Gabriela Root, and were seriously damaged after being attacked with a hockey stick.

The host of Mañana Sylvestre himself narrated what happened live:
“We had a bad time because a person, apparently with altered mental faculties, began to break the parked cars. One was Gabriela’s: he completely destroyed it, broke all the windows and dented the body. Mine, which was in front, destroyed the mirrors,” he said.
Sylvestre also criticized the lack of police action at the time:
“There was an officer but apparently she didn’t do much. This reflects what we have been talking about: a society where more and more people are going through serious mental problems. You have to be very careful,” he reflected.
The intervention of the Police and SAME
According to sources from the City Police, personnel from Neighborhood Police Station 14 A responded after the neighbors called. There they found the woman in full attack, so the Emergency Medical Care System (SAME) was summoned for assistance.
The woman, who had tried to make complaints to the radio studios, was contained and assisted by medical professionals.
Damage to cars
The images that circulated show the serious damage: shattered windshields, broken side windows, torn mirrors and bodywork dented by the blows of the hockey stick.
Despite the violent episode, there were no injuries. Sylvestre closed his reflection calmly:
“Material things have a solution. The issue is when it turns into physical aggression. Luckily it didn’t escalate.”
