A Vietnamese female passenger suddenly got naked at Ninoy Aquino airport (Philippines) after being asked to pay an additional visa overstay fee.
According to Fox Business, Philippine media recently reported that a Vietnamese female passenger suddenly became naked at Ninoy Aquino Airport (NAIA) in the capital Manila. The incident occurred on June 8, and was caused by a dispute over visa overstay fees.
Specifically, the female passenger, surnamed Nguyen (34 years old), was asked by security staff to pay the visa overdue fee before checking in to board the flight back to Vietnam after the vacation. The woman then argued about the charge, then went into the women’s restroom before returning to the security checkpoint in a nude state.
“We don’t understand why she did that. She intended to catch a flight to Ho Chi Minh City but had visa problems,” an airport employee said.

Security staff at the airport then stopped the naked female passenger and provided clothes and water to help her calm down. This incident did not cause harm to other passengers and did not disrupt flights in NAIA.
“We had difficulty communicating, she didn’t understand Filipino and didn’t speak English very well. She only spoke Vietnamese so we had to chat using Google Translate, but everything was fine,” said Mr. Manuel Sequitin, representative of the Philippine Security and Emergency Situations Agency.
The female passenger was then subjected to a medical examination and agreed to pay the visa overstay fee. This person was finally arranged to board a flight to Hanoi on the morning of June 9.
