The Consulate General of Jeddah made a statement and stated that there have been applications recently from some citizens stating that they have not received any news from their relatives who came to Mecca through various means other than the pilgrimage visa, and announced that a telephone support line has been established for Turkish citizens who have not received any news from their relatives.
“THOSE WHO CANNOT REACH THEIR RELATIVES CAN CALL”
“In order to respond to these requests instantly, a telephone support line has been opened that will be active 24/7. Our citizens who cannot reach their relatives can call 00966 53 512 4702.” In the statement, it was noted that the line will also be used as a WhatsApp line.
WHAT HAPPENED?
It has been claimed that the Turkish pilgrim candidates who went to the Holy Land from Turkey without a pilgrimage visa were complained to Saudi Arabia by the Presidency of Religious Affairs, and the latest President of Religious Affairs on the subject, Ali Erbaş, denied the claim and said, “Anyone who has a trade or travel visa is not allowed to go to Arabia.” We do not have the authority to say ‘don’t go’. We announced that the pilgrimage cannot be done with such a business or tourist visa. We did nothing in Saudi Arabia. We did not complain about a single citizen in Mecca. It is completely wrong, to put it simply, it is unreal.” he said.
