Proper nutrition and an active lifestyle can reduce a person’s biological age by five years in a matter of weeks.
Publika.az informs that doctor of biological sciences, corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, professor, N.I. Alexei Moskalev, director of the Lobachevsky Nizhny Novgorod State University, spoke about this at the III International Congress “Management of Aging”.
A group of scientists with the participation of Moskalev selected 43 volunteers for the experiment. They were asked to change their usual lifestyle for two weeks. The experimental participants followed a low-calorie balanced diet, exercised and performed breathing exercises. According to Moskalev, the health indicators of the research participants improved significantly.
“On average, program participants’ biological age decreased by almost five years in terms of blood parameters in two weeks. Parameters that reflect how our body systems work, such as blood glucose levels and indicators of inflammation, are manageable and understandable. Aging of the body is caused by a large number of disorders at the cellular level. the cause should be considered as an auto-inflammatory disease. Therefore, in old age people often have heart, vascular and oncological problems. However, each organ ages differently and at its own time,” Moskalev noted.
However, if you do not cope with stress, watch your diet and do not engage in physical activity, you can rapidly age your biological age. According to the doctor, all this will definitely affect the body, the main thing is that such rules should not be temporary, but should become a part of life.
