Edith Terenzisenator of the Cambio Federal bloc, one of the 42 legislators who voted on Thursday against the decree of Javier Mileyreported that they threatened to kill her even before formalizing her decision in the Upper House.
The senator directly blamed the libertarian president for the intimidating messages she received. “After having raised the question of privilege, five or six hours before rejecting the DNU, I began to receive threats on the phone. They began to make my phone, my personal data, go viral,” Terenzi said, on Radio Splendid, this Saturday.
For the senator, this mistreatment and grievance has to do with the President’s attitudes; “Because he also attacks us,” she argued.
“I’m not going to say bad words, but I fell into the category of ‘old piss’, which is the most natural thing that Milei’s hosts say. I became ‘caste’, when I never belonged nor will I belong to any caste. Then they remember your mother, parts of your sister’s body and they tell you: ‘When we pass you on the street, we are going to kill you.’ Take care of yourself because wherever we see you, we are going to liquidate you,’” she said.
“That is the level of aggression and threats that this group of trolls and these hosts that come from the Presidency manage,” said the senator.
