In Jordan, a young woman filed for divorce just a few weeks after the wedding, discovering that her husband seriously considered himself Batman, Liter.kz reports with reference to Lovin Amman.
According to the publication, the man prepared in advance a full-fledged superhero costume – mask, cloak, armor. After the wedding, he began to practically live in this image.
“At first, the wife thought it was an isolated joke. But it soon became clear that the husband spent hours walking around the house in a suit, speaking in character phrases and forbidding him to turn on the TV if there were no programs about Batman. Any attempt to watch another film ended in conflict,” the source writes.
According to the woman, at night the husband would leave the house wearing parts of the suit, declaring that he was on a “secret mission” and that he had seen the “Bat-signal” in the sky. The man did not explain who and why could have given this signal in Jordan.
The climax came in the morning when his wife found him in the bathroom – in full costume, with a serious face, speaking “on behalf of Batman” and categorically refusing to take off his mask. Frightened, the woman went to her parents and then filed for divorce.
