As is customary in recent years, an ice rink accessible to the public is operational in the Ogre Regional Sports Center (ONSC) stadium (Skolas Street 21). Once again this year, ONSC employees are committed to making it accessible to visitors. Skate rental is not available at the ice rink.
WORKING HOURS – from 8:00 to 22:00
LIGHTING
Available during the dark hours of the day. If the lighting is not on, ask the HALLES employee to turn it on by going there personally or by calling 65044150.
ICE CLEANING
Of course the ONSC workers will clean the ice as much as possible, but if you come on a holiday or late in the evening and the snow on the ice makes it difficult to skate, take the shovel nearby and clean the area yourself or with the help of someone.
HOCKEY STICKS, GOALS AND PUCKS
Active skaters have already noticed that we skate on the ice rink at Ogre Stadium without using any additional equipment for hockey or other ice sports (sticks, pucks, balls, balls, goals, etc.). If you want to test your hockey skills, you can do so on the ice rink on Krasta Square in Ogre, in front of the Lutheran parish church.
ICE RINK CLOSED
In periods in which heat, rain or any other inappropriate climate prevents the use of the ice rink, it is forbidden to stay there. Skating in inadequate conditions can significantly affect the quality of the ice and the possibility of its timely and high-quality restoration, as well as seriously damage the skates.
