Earlier, the Civil Aviation Department of India has clarified on Sunday that the plane that crashed in the northern province of Badakhshan in Afghanistan is not an Indian plane.

The Indian Ministry of Civil Aviation has said in a statement released on the social media website X that ‘the plane that suffered an unfortunate accident in Afghanistan is neither an Indian passenger plane nor an Indian chartered plane.
