A photo of Ronaldo’s “destroyed” foot raises controversy

Saudi Arabia – It appears that Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo, the Saudi Al-Nasr star, is suffering from an injury that his club did not announce in recent days.

Ronaldo is currently spending a short vacation before joining the Portugal national team camp, to play a friendly match, in preparation for the Euro 2024 tournament.

The 39-year-old star posted a photo of himself during a relaxing break in front of a swimming pool, via his Instagram account.

For its part, English radio station Talk Sport indicated that the photo shows Ronaldo suffering from an injury to his feet.

Ronaldo’s feet appeared in his last photo, full of swelling and bruises, confirming that he suffered painful blows to them during his last matches with Al-Nasr, which made his fans feel astonished by the shape they had become.

Although Ronaldo succeeded in maintaining his physical fitness throughout a career that saw him play more than 1,000 matches with clubs and the Portuguese national team, his foot was the price for the greatness he displayed on the field, according to what his fans described.

In the same context, someone commented: “Ronaldo’s foot looks like it is cooked, and this is a reflection of twenty years of playing football at the highest level. It is madness.”

It seems that the condition of “The Don’s” feet prompted Spanish coach Roberto Martinez to rest him when they face Sweden in a friendly match next Thursday, with him participating in the next match against Slovenia scheduled for next Tuesday.
