The sleeper bus was traveling on the Ho Chi Minh City – Trung Luong highway. When it reached the section passing through Tan Phuoc district (Tien Giang), it crashed into the rear of the tractor going in front. The accident left the bus driver stuck in the cockpit, causing traffic congestion for several kilometers.
At around 2:00 a.m. on March 30, a sleeper bus with Ho Chi Minh City license plate carrying many passengers was traveling on the Ho Chi Minh City – Trung Luong highway, heading from Ho Chi Minh City to Tien Giang.
When the vehicle reached the area of Tan Phuoc district (bordering Chau Thanh district, Tien Giang), it suddenly hit the rear of a tractor pulling a trailer moving in the same direction in front.
The strong impact caused the front of the sleeper truck to stick tightly to the rear of the tractor, deforming, and the driver was stuck in the vehicle. The tow truck then had to hook a rope to stretch the front of the sleeper truck to get the driver out and taken to the emergency room.
Fortunately, the passengers in the car are safe.

At the scene, 2 vehicles were located on lane 2 and part of the traffic jam lane lasted about 2 kilometers.
