In his written statement, Uraloğlu gave information about the “electronic seal” regulation carried out within the scope of the Electronic Signature Law No. 5070. Reminding that the electronic signature is given to real persons and corresponds to the person’s wet signature, Uraloğlu stated that the application ensures the verification of the identity of the signatory and the integrity of the signed data.

Uraloğlu pointed out that the “electronic seal” is for legal entities, that is, companies, organizations and institutions, and said, “Determining whether an electronic document was created by a legal entity and its source, and the integrity of the sealed data will be ensured by the electronic seal. PREPARATION WORK HAS BEEN COMPLETED

Uraloğlu pointed out that there are 8 electronic certificate service providers (ECSP) in Turkey that are authorized and actively operating under the relevant law.

Stating that the electronic seals regulated by the regulation will be issued by ESSPs operating within the scope of the electronic signature legislation, Uraloğlu said, “We have completed the necessary preparatory work for this. We plan to start the use of the electronic seal in our country after the regulations that the electronic seal can be used instead of the financial seal are made.” he said.
