A Moroccan thesis wins distinction at the University of Cordoba

Recently, the University of Cordoba in Spain hosted the defense of a thesis to obtain a doctoral degree in Languages ​​and Cultures, presented by researcher Abdullah Badda, from the city of El Ksar El Kebir, on the topic “The Effectiveness of Integrating Translation Exercises in Teaching Reading Skills to Beginners,” under the supervision of Dr. Victor Pavon Vasquez.

The researcher discussed his thesis before a scientific committee headed by Dr. Martinez Lopez Ana Plein, Head of the English and German Philology Department at the same university, Dr. Rodriguez de Cespedes Bicuna, from the University of Portsmouth in England, and Dr. Otto Canton Ana, from the University of Madrid, focusing on the basic elements of the research.

After extensive discussion of all aspects of the subject and the various chapters of the thesis by the Scientific Committee, with a focus on the importance of the research topic, the committee decided to grant the researcher a doctoral degree with distinction, which is the highest distinction granted by the European University.

It is noteworthy that the researcher Abdullah Badda works as a professor of English at the Allal Ben Abdullah Preparatory Secondary School in the city of Ksar El-Kebir, affiliated with the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of National Education, Primary Education and Sports in Larache.
