Ms. H parked the motorbike on the sidewalk and took the customer inside. When she was preparing for the “fun” party, she was suddenly attacked by a customer holding a brick. The blow made Ms. H stunned and unable to resist. At this time, the young man searched her bag, took her cell phone and motorbike keys and then… disappeared. Because the night was dark, the meeting was only brief, causing Ms. H to barely remember the subject’s identifying characteristics.

After the investigation, the police determined that the suspect responsible for the robbery was identified as Vu Trung Ngoc (born 2000, residing in Doan Hung commune, Hung Ha district, Thai Binh province) with 2 previous convictions. . In 2018, Ngoc was sentenced to 27 months in prison by the People’s Court of Son La province for property theft; In 2020, Ngoc was sentenced to 32 months in prison by the People’s Court of Lai Chau City (Lai Chau province) for the same crime. The same evening, the robber pawned the iPhone 12 Promax for 9 million VND. Ngoc used all the money from selling motorbikes and phones for personal expenses, mainly playing games.
Police Commander Nam Tu Liem said that Vu Trung Ngoc had two previous convictions.
