Yerevan State University Rector Hovhannes Hovhannisyan and Ucom CEO Ralph Yirikyan, highlighting the role of partnership and cooperation in the education and specialization of students, signed a memorandum of cooperation today.
According to the memorandum, the experienced employees of the Ucom company will also be involved in the processes of development and implementation of YSU educational programs. In addition, the company will organize internships for YSU students.
The two structures will jointly organize and hold open classes, seminars and discussions. The memorandum also stipulates that the company, as appropriate and at its discretion, will provide jobs to the best students as a result of testing and interviews.
“I am sure that this memorandum will provide new opportunities for our students. It will strengthen the connection between the academic and practical spheres, providing more favorable conditions for the development of knowledge and professional skills. YSU always strives to provide students with high-quality education, and this cooperation with the Ucom company will allow us to enrich our educational programs with innovative solutions and technologies,” YSU Rector said.
