A meeting was held with families of martyrs and war participants in Absheron region.
Publika.az informs that at the meeting held in the administrative building of the District Executive Power, Abdin Farzaliyev, the head of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the head of the Absheron District Department of the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription – major Beytulla Guliyev, the Chairman of the Public Council of the Absheron District Executive Authority, the martyr Elchin Hasanli mother Khatira Ismayilova, chairman of Absheron District Council of Elders, father of martyr Vidadi Zalov Nizami Zalov, families of martyrs and war participants participated.
Speaking about the extensive reconstruction and development works in our lands freed from occupation under the leadership of Supreme Commander-in-Chief Muzaffar, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev, the head of the Republic of Azerbaijan said that our compatriots are already returning to their homes and life is returning to Karabakh. He noted that thanks to the bravery of thousands of our brave sons, martyrs and veterans who united under the “Iron Fist” of the Commander-in-Chief, the enemy was forced to kneel on the battlefield and Armenia was forced to sign the Act of Capitulation. Emphasizing that our territorial integrity and divine justice have been established after the anti-terrorist operation last year, our Armed Forces are capable of preventing and promptly responding to all military provocations that may occur in the future.
Later, Khatira Ismayilova, the chairman of the Public Council, the mother of the martyr Elchin Hasanli, made a speech and spoke about the high attention and care shown to the families of the martyrs and war participants in general in our country, and thanked the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev and First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva for all this.
In the end, Aliyev Vidadi Rizvan oglu, a participant of the Patriotic War, the first group of war disabled, who was awarded by the relevant orders of the head of state, was presented with the 3rd degree “For service to the country” order and the “For the liberation of Khojavend” medal.
