
A young man in his thirties, involved in the sale of books “ The winner »Pirated and false BEPC examination subjects, was apprehended in Ampitatafika and was placed in pre -trial detention last Thursday. This arrest follows a complaint filed by Ratsimaholy winning editions, victims for many years of the illegal reproduction of their educational works. Ratsimaholy winning editions are recognized for their essential contribution to Malagasy education, in particular thanks to their textbooks and their collections of standard subjects for CEPE and BEPC. The Anti-Piratoring Brigade (BAP) conducted an in-depth investigation following the publisher’s complaint concerning the fraudulent publication of their registered brand. The police, and more particularly the anti-piraty brigade, are continuing their efforts to dismantle the entire network of counterfeit books and exams circulating on social networks. In recognition of their incessant fight against piracy, carried out for decades, and for their continuous production of quality textbooks adapted to the needs of Malagasy students, the Ratsimaholy winning editions have received a special distinction from the Ministry of National Education.
