A few days ago, there were reports that Ahmet Mehman oglu Ahmadov, born in 1999, who was suspected of murdering his family members, had psychological problems and worked as a taxi driver.
Publika.az reports that according to the information obtained by “Oxu.Az”, after that incident, the taxi drivers were sent for a drug test.
Thus, the Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency (AYNA) has given a task to taxi companies to send their drivers to drug tests.
It should be noted that on February 13, the police received information about the killing of Mehman Ahmed oglu Ahmadov, born in 1972, Pike Badal gizi Ahmadova, born in 1977, and Muhammad Mehman oglu Ahmadov, born in 2015, with a cutting tool in Khatai district.
Ahmed Mehman oglu Ahmedov, born in 1999, who is suspected of committing the murder, was detained by police officers. After that, reasonable suspicions were established that A. Ahmadov killed his sister Elmira Mehman gizi Ahmadova and her five-year-old daughter in the same way.
In connection with the fact, a criminal case was initiated in the Khatai District Prosecutor’s Office under Articles 120.2.4 (intentional murder with special cruelty) and 120.2.7 (murder of two or more persons) of the Criminal Code. Ahmed Ahmadov was arrested as a suspect in the case by the decision of the prosecutor’s office.
He was ordered to be detained for four months.
