The family members of the criminal police officer of the State of Goiás, José Françualdo Leite Nóbrega, confirmed at the hearing Mail that the body of the public official was found this Saturday afternoon (1/6), in Padre Bernardo, in the state of Goiás. Relatives reported that two people were arrested on suspicion of involvement in the crime.
The public official disappeared on November 27, 2023, after leaving Águas Lindas (GO) to go to Brasilia to collect R$40,000. A day after his disappearance, José’s car was found charred in the Núcleo Rural Três Conquistas, in Paranoá.
José was assigned to the Santo Antônio do Descoberto Penitentiary Unit and provided services at the 3rd Regional Penitentiary Coordination. OR Mail found that the server was functioning normally on Sunday, the day before the disappearance. The information was conveyed to the family by one of the employees of the building materials rental shop, also owned by the police officer.
