Police officers of the Narcotics Prosecution Department of the Ioannina Security Sub-Directorate identified and arrested a citizen in Ioannina, who is accused of drug possession and trafficking and infidelity.
In particular, regarding the timeline of the case, yesterday evening in Ioannina, before an imminent police check, the defendant abandoned the motorcycle he was riding and fled on foot. At the scene, he also abandoned a travel bag, which contained 4 packages of raw cannabis, with a total weight of 10 kilograms and 513 grams.
As part of the search, the police last night managed to locate and arrest the accused, while the motorcycle and the amount of drugs were confiscated.
The arrested person will be taken to Mr. Prosecutor Plemmeliodiki of Ioannina.
