A British citizen who arrived in the US without a ticket and passport is missing

British citizens who arrived in the American city of New York from the British capital London have gone missing.

Earlier, the British citizen was accused of coming to America by boarding a plane without a ticket and passport.

Craig Stuart, a British citizen, is accused of having managed to pass security checks at Heathrow Airport without presenting any documents before boarding a British Airways flight landing at John F. Kennedy Airport. His ticket was not seen.

The 46-year-old Briton was stopped by an armed officer on arrival at New York airport the day before Christmas and sent back to the UK on a chartered flight.

After landing at a British airport on Christmas Day, Stuart was arrested and charged with offenses under the Aviation Security Act.

According to a report in the Da Sun newspaper, Stuart is accused of going ‘without buying a ticket.’ Boarded the Boeing 787.10 Dreamliner.

He reportedly managed to escape during the checking stage by walking right behind other passengers. All the tickets for the plane were sold out, but some passengers failed to take connecting flights, which left the British passenger with an empty seat.

He pleaded guilty at Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court. He was to be sentenced last month. However, the British authorities had to face more trouble when they did not appear in the court.

According to reports, the Metropolitan Police took Stuart to a hospital in the Reading area for treatment, from where he escaped.

Sources told the Daily Mail that Home Secretary James Cleverley is reportedly aware of the incident and has called for an investigation into how the ‘disgraceful situation’ arose.

Thames Valley Police issued an arrest warrant for Stuart after he was reported missing on January 25. ‘Can you please help us locate Craig,’ the warrant said.

According to the arrest warrant: ‘The 46-year-old is six feet tall. They are thin. His hair is dark brown and short. When he was last seen, he was wearing a gray jacket, top, black jogging pajamas and white shoes.

The appeal said he was last seen in Reading but hails from the Slough area. They also have connections to Heathrow and Tottenham Court Road in London. The post warned people against approaching them and asked citizens to call police if they were seen.

The Metropolitan Police is investigating the incident on January 31. Police said: ‘On 24 December 2023, police were alerted to a security breach at Heathrow Airport, following which a man was arrested and charged with fraud and offenses under the Aviation Security Act. Accused.’

Stuart’s brother Lee Smith, 52, told The Sun on Sunday that when police contacted him, they ‘couldn’t believe what (they) were hearing’ that they were looking for his brother. Is.

Heathrow Airport says Mr Stuart must have passed through security but it is unclear how he managed to avoid document checks before and after.
A Heathrow spokesman said: ‘We are continuing to work with all our partners to review and improve the robust security arrangements we already have in place. These arrangements are continually reviewed within the wider security partnership.’

A spokesman for British Airways also released a statement saying it was ‘assisting authorities with their investigation’ into the incident.
