Visitors can look forward to the band Foxy Hunters, the Carnaval drum show, and a magic performance by Štěpán Šmíd, who will entertain the audience throughout the evening. The entire evening will be accompanied by moderator Lucie Fürstová. And of course animal dancers must not be missing!
Professionals on the psychology of cats and other diseases
“As an association and a shelter, since our inception, we have moved from the punk years to a professional entity. Just jump like thunder! We have all the necessary certificates, great equipment, and I have to commend us for being able to specialize in cats. By that I mean their psyche, knowledge about diseases, suitable feed or how to capture them appropriately and in what style to castrate them,” explains Františka Zverková, owner of the association Chance for Animals.

Originally they helped dogs from breeding farms
She herself perceives these changes as a great progress, because she says that they were originally created mainly to help dogs from breeding centers, who did not make any progress in the classic shelter, because they tend to be unsocialized.
“But even colleague Verča, who has a dog depository, has come a long way in terms of acquiring new knowledge and experience regarding the care of dogs or their training,” added.

Thanks to everyone who helps
The ball was created in 2019 as a way of thanking everyone who helps the Chance for Animals association, but also as an opportunity to introduce yourself to new people.
“At the moment, we have several projects underway for which we need to raise funds. Among them is, for example, the expansion of the premises in Chrastava by several rooms or the construction of a cat shelter from cells.
