The Meknesian Sports Club has speeded up in recent weeks its preparations to start the Sports Season 2026-2025 from the National Professional Championship (Enoy) in the best conditions, and his eyes on the nail with a good seat in the table, and trying to qualify for one of the continental competitions.
This dynamism comes in the context of the change that the administration witnessed with the election of Ezz Al -Din Al -Yaqoubi, recently, at the head of the Meknesi Football Club. The election of the new manager coincided with the approval of the club’s new policy that focuses on stability, performance and training.
This policy is based on the rational management of resources, the development of internal structures, and a strong commitment to the benefit of developing young talents. The team aims to build a sustainable sports project that is able to respond to the requirements of the professional national championship, by establishing a remote development model.
In order to achieve this goal, a preparatory program was implemented early and distributed in three main stages.
After conducting two training camps in Agadir and Meknes, the team concluded its preparations with a final stage of two weeks in Rabat. This session was eccentranty of improving the physical fitness of the players and enhancing the tactical harmony of the team under the supervision of the new technical staff, led by coach Aziz Al -Dinibi.
The coach set clear goals for the next season, including occupying a center at the forefront of the arrangement and possible qualification to participate in a continental competition. It has also been given great importance to developing young talents of the club, in a move aimed at ensuring the continuity and sustainability of the project in the long run.
According to club officials, the preparations were positive and promising, especially with regard to the progress made by the players at the physical and tactical levels.
In parallel, a strategy was implemented to enhance the human arsenal of the team, as the technical administration was keen to use the services of competitive and disciplined players who are able to adapt quickly to the group and provide the added value to the club.
On the regulatory level, the club complied with the requirements of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation and the National Technical Administration in the field of training; This compliance will qualify it to join the national project for training “Sports – Study”, a program that keeps pace with clubs in developing their infrastructure and human resources.
The Al-Meknasi Sports Club team finished the national professional championship competitions (Enoy) in the sports season 2025-2024 in 11th place, with 36 points, collected from 9 wins, 9 draws, and 12 defeats.
