Mr. Putin stated how to end the conflict in Ukraine

At a joint press conference with US President Donald Trump, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated how to create a long -term solution for the conflict in Ukraine.

According to RT news agency, during a joint press conference at Alaska after a meeting on August 15, Putin said that in order to have a long -term solution for conflicts in Ukraine, all the root causes leading to conflicts must be resolved, the legitimate concerns of Russia must be considered, and the global security balance must be restored.

Earlier, during the talks lasting more than 2.5 hours, the two Russian -US leaders discussed the restoration of bilateral relations, and aiming to a solution for Ukrainian conflict.

Putin recognized the US and President Trump government’s willingness to participate in dialogue and search for solutions, and emphasized the commitment to the two sides in understanding the complexity of the situation.

The Kremlin boss also recalled the view of the Russians and Ukrainians who were the ethnic groups and described the current situation as a tragedy, and affirmed Moscow’s sincere desire to end the conflict.

According to President Putin, any sustainable solution must solve the root cause of the pulse, and take into account the legitimate concerns of Russia. “It is necessary to restore fair security balance in Europe and globally,” he emphasized.
