The Plenary Session of the National Electoral Council (CNE) approved the electoral calendar and declared the beginning of the electoral process of the Referendum and Popular Consultation 2024.
According to the calendar approved this Wednesday, February 14, 2024, Ecuadorians will go to the polls on Sunday April 21 of 2024 to rule on 11 questions:
⢠Remodeling to the text of article 158 of the Constitution of the Republic
• Six questions Referendum
• Four questions from To be reportedproposed by President Daniel Noboa.
The CNE will approve the guidelines, operational plan, budget, as well as the risk and contingency matrix for this democratic process.

- Designation of Members of Provincial Electoral Boards: from Saturday, February 17 to Friday, February 23
- Approve and publish the Electoral Registry purified and updated: Thursday February 22, 2024
