His Excellency Mr. Osama bin Ahmed Khalaf Al-Asfour, Minister of Social Development, received Sheikha Hessa Salem Al-Sabah, Head of the National Development Project “Amni” in the sisterly State of Kuwait.
During the meeting, the Minister of Social Development stressed the historical fraternal relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the sisterly State of Kuwait, pointing out the importance of exchanging qualitative experiences and expertise in the development fields, in a way that embodies the visions and aspirations of the two countries and their brotherly peoples, and to achieve sustainable national gains.
The Minister praised the national development project “Amni” and its national goals, which support and enhance the role of youth in the development process, and provide them with opportunities to gain more experience, in order to develop their capabilities and prepare them to perform their pivotal role in shaping the future of countries, stressing the keenness to join efforts and exchange best practices and models. Successful development of social policies that contribute to achieving positive results that are compatible with national aspirations.
For her part, Sheikha Hessa Salem Al-Sabah reviewed the “I Wish” project, noting that it is the first development incubator for young people and owners of entrepreneurial projects that contribute to achieving the progress and development the country aspires to. In this context, she praised the efforts of the Ministry of Social Development in the Kingdom of Bahrain to advance various groups.
