Tourism firm Enjoy Travel Group will open a new direct flight between Madrid and Havana

AREQUIPA, Peru – The Spanish accessible tourism firm Enjoy Travel Group (ETG) announced this Tuesday the opening of a direct flight from Madrid to Havana next June.

A report from the state agency Prensa Latina includes statements by Luís Jiménez, vice president of marketing and sales at ETG, who indicates that the tourist operation will begin in Madrid from June 29 to September 7. It will be on a Plus Ultra company plane, an A330-200 with 288 seats, with 24 in business class.

Jiménez pointed out that for the first time agreements have been closed with the most important high-speed train companies in Spain to achieve the best connection from the provinces of the Iberian Peninsula to Madrid, and from there connect with flights to Havana.

Likewise, he highlighted that the Madrid International Tourism Fair (January 24 to 28) was a success for ETG and the coincidences of the main tour operators and retail agencies.

It was the opportunity to close the operation, facing the summer of 2024, based on the success of trips of this type from Barcelona to the capital of Cuba.

The links benefit places such as Asturias, Catalonia, Galicia, Valencia and Andalusia, and facilitate the work of those involved.

The plan has the collaboration of hotel companies that operate alongside the Cuban regime such as Meliá, Iberostar, Blue Diamond and Kempinski. Agreements were also closed with operators interested in trips to Cuba.

Enjoy Travel Group has been a receptive vertical wholesale operator for more than two decades, offering 24-hour customer assistance and advice in Cuba, and complete circuit and combined programs.
