We Want to Expand Market and Business

JAKARTA – The partnership between PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Barat and Banten Tbk, (Bank BJB) and MNC Group continues to be strengthened. One of them is agreeing to cooperate with MNC Group’s business unit, PT Rajawali Citra Televisi Indonesia (RCTI).

Meanwhile, the form of cooperation between Bank BJB and RCTI is in the form of syndicated credit with a value of Rp500 billion. This cooperation also involves five other syndicated banks.

Senior Executive Vice President of Bank BJB Business, Beny Riswandi said, the partnership is part of the company’s strategy to expand its market and business. Moreover, RCTI is a national television station network that is widely known in the community.

“BJB, of course, we want to expand the market, expand cooperation, expand business, well, one of them is with RCTI, we see that when RCTI was in high school, it was called RCTI Ok,” he said when met at iNews Tower, Friday (13/9/2024).

“So basically the RCTI brand is already well-known in the community and of course we also want to expand collaboration with RCTI,” he explained.

As a regional banking institution, BJB is ready to build a wider network. Although the company still considers accessibility to see the dynamics in the field.

“What is certain is that if banking is ready to build collaboration, of course we also look at its accessibility, its level of dynamics, and of course the level of how we ensure that this can develop according to the expectations of the community,” he explained.

Meanwhile, the five syndicate banks that are participating in the partnership with RCTI include PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Kalimantan Timur and Kalimantan Utara (Bankaltimtara), Bank Pembangunan Daerah Nusa Tenggara Timur (BankNTT).

Then, the Central Kalimantan Regional Development Bank (Bank Kalteng), PT Bengkulu Regional Development Bank (Bank Bengkulu), PT Maluku and North Maluku Regional Development Bank (Bank Maluku Malut).

Meanwhile, acting as Joint Mandated Lead Arranger (JMLA) are PT Bank MNC Internasional Tbk (BABP) or MNC Bank and Bank BJB.

“And of course this is one of our successes in convincing BPD friends to collaborate more between BPDs throughout Indonesia, even though in any case we are all the same for the BPD that we love,” said Beny.
