After the outbreak of the scandal, Gergő Bese spoke out one after the other. Now two more acquaintances stood in front of RTL’s cameras.
One of them – who asked that his voice not be recognized – claimed that he was once fired from his job because of Gergő Bese.

The specific case was not told, as the former student is afraid that he would be recognized based on it, but he allegedly did something that did not fit into the school’s values. He said that, as an adult, he also finds it strange that Gergő Bese wanted to know everything about them, or that he often went to parties with his students.

According to information from Válasz Online, a file was prepared on the activities of the anti-LGBTQ priest involved in the gay porn scandal, which has also visited the highest government circles, where the case is said to be “comparable to the history of Szajer, only worse”.
After the outbreak of the scandal, Gergő Bese appeared in public for the first time on Saturday. In his statement, he wrote that he was taken for granted, that his naivety was taken advantage of, and that he lost his sound judgment. “I have sinned against the church and my community. I broke my priestly vow, I committed a sin. I apologize to everyone I hurt, whom I disappointed,” said the parish priest.
According to him, he performed his priestly service and teaching work with the best of his knowledge and enormous energy, but this service will now end with his suspension. He announced that in the coming weeks he would like to retire, quiet down, do penance and rethink his life.
