Şafak Sezer rebelled against what happened at Aydemir Akbaş’s funeral: We couldn’t pray, we couldn’t do anything

Actress Şafak Sezer made some striking statements about the brawl that broke out at the funeral of master artist Aydemir Akbaş, who passed away at the age of 88. Sezer said, “I have never seen anything like this in my life, nor have I experienced anything like this. It was as if people who escaped from a mental hospital came to the funeral. Do you think they wanted money or a job? It’s an incredible disgrace. We couldn’t pray, we couldn’t do anything.”

AYDEMİR AKBAŞ WAS SENT OFF ON HIS LAST JOURNEY

Actor Aydemir Akbaş, who had been suffering from health problems for a while and died at the age of 88, was sent on his final journey. Akbaş’s body was buried in Feriköy Cemetery after the ceremony held at Galatasaray High School and the funeral prayer held at noon in Barbaros Hayrettin Paşa Mosque in Levent.

The funeral prayer was attended by Istanbul Governor Davut Gül, Galatasaray Club President Dursun Özbek, Ministry of Culture and Tourism Cinema General Manager Birol Güven, artists İbrahim Tatlıses, Mehmet Ali Erbil and Şafak Sezer and many people from the world of culture and art.
