Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz met with (TESK) President Bendevi Palandöken at the Confederation of Turkish Tradesmen and Craftsmen. After the meeting, Yılmaz shared a post on his social media account. Yılmaz stated that they met with the chamber and union presidents hosted by TESK and listened to their demands, opinions and suggestions within the scope of the Medium Term Program preparations covering the 2025-2027 period, which they will announce in September. Expressing that one of the biggest shares in Turkey’s development undoubtedly belongs to tradesmen who add value to the economy with their sweat, Yılmaz said, “In this context, we attach great importance to consultations with confederation representatives with a participatory understanding and we all do our part together. With these studies, we need to carry Turkey to the point it deserves in terms of both economic and social justice in the medium term. We will work non-stop to strengthen our economy and increase social welfare with the awareness that when our country increases its competitive power and efficiency on the path to development, this situation will be reflected in welfare at the same rate. In this context, we will continue to come together with our stakeholders in the coming days and listen to their suggestions and demands within the scope of the OVP preparations and hold consultations.
